President of the Catholic Bishops Conference of Nigeria calls upon Politicians to be mindful of their duty to serve the common good
The President of the Catholic Bishops Conference of Nigeria, Archbishop Ignatius Kaigama of Jos, has said greed is one of the vices eating up the Nigerian society. He made the remark on Thursday during the special session of the country’s national assembly in Abuja. He lamented that many of the country’s politicians are greedy and called upon them to practice good politics that builds the nation and that prepares them for holiness. He said those in authority should grow in the fear of God and should be guided by the zeal to serve the common good.
