The Faithful Witness of this week is Archbishop Thomas D’Souza of Calcutta Archdiocese. He spoke about the Calcutta archdiocese, its faith enhancing activities, and evangelization last week in the first part of this interview. This week the Archbishop will share with us his faith challenges, pastoral priorities, and more.

Pope emeritus Benedict XVI had said sometime back that two major challenges for pastors today is pastoral care and preaching of the gospel. your comments.
You are privileged to have two great pilgrimage centers in the archdiocese, namely, the Marian shrine of Bandel, and the Tomb of Mother Teresa. How do you see they are impacting the faith of the people both Christians and other believers?
Share with us one or two faith enhancing programs of yours which can also be done elsewhere in the world.
