The Symposium of the Episcopal Conferences of Africa and Madagascar, SECAM, holding its assembly in Kinshasa



The Plenary Assembly of the Symposium of the Episcopal Conferences of Africa and Madagascar, SECAM, taking place in the Congolese capital, Kinshasa, entered its fourth day on Friday. It is attended by Cardinals, Bishops, priests, religious and lay representatives from various African countries. The participants are discussing the theme: The family Church of God in Africa at the service of reconciliation, justice and peace. One of the participants is the Secretary-General of the Zimbabwe Catholic Bishops’ conference, Fr. Fredrick Chiromba. He spoke to Vatican Radio about the country’s national elections scheduled for 31st this month and what the church is doing to prepare the people for them. RealAudioMP3
