Pope Francis receives Bolivian President



On Friday Pope Francis received in audience the President of the Republic of Bolivia, Mr. Juan Evo Morales. A communique released by the Holy See after the meeting said the two discussed the socio-economic and religious situation in Bolivia as well as the inequalities and poverty existent in the country. Mr. Morales expressed gratitude to the Church for its contribution to the country in the sectors of education and health. He was grateful also for the help the church gives to families, children and the elderly. The Pope and the President examined also the international situation especially the need to promote peace in the Middle east. Peace was also the message of the twitter Pope Francis sent on Friday. It calls upon all men and women of good will to be promoters of peace.
