Is Christ the Centre of Your plans? Pope asks Young People

Vatican City, 05 October 2013: Pope Francis has a special place for young people in his heart and mission. At every possible opportunity, the Pope reaches out to them voicing their problems, sharing their concerns, and inviting the world community to respond to their needs adequately.
In a twitter message published on Saturday, the Pontiff wrote on his Twitter handle @pontifex: Dear young people, you have many plans and dreams for the future. But, is Christ at the center of each of your plans and dreams?
For Pope Francis, Christ is the one who gives meaning to their plans and dreams. On Friday when he met the young people in Assisi, he said: I have neither silver nor gold to give you, but something far more precious, the Gospel of Jesus.
The Pope now has more than 9 million followers on his Twitter account @Pontifex. The Pope’s English-language handle alone has over 2.8 million followers. The papal tweets are published in nine languages on the micro-blogging website.Source: VR Sedoc
