Who was Saint Paul?

(Vatican Radio) On Saturday evening Pope Francis presides over vespers in the Basilica of Saint Paul's outside the walls. He does so on the Feast of the conversion of Saint Paul, on the final day of the Week of Prayer for Christian Unity, in this Basilica especially linked to Saint Paul.

But who exactly was Saint Paul and what did his encounter with Jesus who came at him like a tidal wave mean exactly? Join scripture scholar Mark Benedict Coleridge, Archbishop of Brisbane in Australia to find out more...

A programme produced by Veronica Scarisbrick.
