Thankyou for the job weldone, in spite of the conflict, South Sudan Torit diocese Apostolic Administrator tells priests

Torit Catholic Apostolic Administrator has commended his priests for offering services to Christians amidst challenges. Monsignor Thomas Oliha said this when he addressed a four-day annual pastoral meeting that concluded on Friday, and was attended by Priests, religious brothers, sister and the laity. Emmanuel Radio quoted Monsignor Oliha as telling the priests that they are pastoral agents and as such they must sacrifice themselves to render services to those in need. He said after touring all parishes, he discovered many difficulties priests face while serving the people of God. The Apostolic Administrator noted the commitment of religious brothers and sisters, and urged them to cooperate with priests in the ministry of Jesus Christ in the diocese. He also appreciated Catechists whom he described as the right hands in the Catholic Church, and pledged to improve their social lives.
