Appointment of members of the Pontifical Committee for International Eucharistic Congresses
(March 04, 2010) The Holy Father has appointed Father Theodore Mascarenhas, SFX, the Society of Missionaries of St. Francis Xavier (Society of Pilar), an Official at the Pontifical Council for Culture as a member of the Pontifical Committee for International Eucharistic Congresses, on the 4th of March. The other members of the committee are the Eminent Cardinals: Peter Kodwo Appiah Turkson, Chairman of the Pontifical Council for Justice and Peace, and Antonio Cañizares Llovera, Prefect of the Congregation for Divine Worship and the Discipline of sacraments. Father Wojciech Giertych, OP, Theologian of the Papal Household is also a new member of the committee.
